  8. Monica says that chile peppers are actually easy to grow. Tell three main things you need to grow them. What is a ‘fiesta’? See if you can find any fiestas – or festivals in your hometown. If so, tell what these fiestas celebrate. (Go to it and have fun!)

        A) Try growing a pepper plant from seeds on your own. (Or choose another kind of food plant – like tomatoes or cucumbers.) Keep a journal on what you do and see with your planting on a daily basis.
          B) Ask a grownup at home to help you make a home cooked meal using peppers. Share it with the kids at school.
            C) Bring up the idea with your teacher about having a fiesta in your class. Choose something you all want to celebrate and think of ways each student can participate to make it a fun, learning experience.
