  1. 1. Jeff Hopkins knew he wanted to be an artist when he was only 5 years old! He also loved sports. Tell something you have loved since you were very little. Do you think you will still love this when you grow up?
  2. 2. The pictures in a book have to go through a lot of different steps before they are ready for publication. Name the 3 steps Jeff Hopkins goes through before his pictures are ready to be published in a book.

  4. b) What is his number one (and only) rule?
  5. 4. If you were an artist, what kind of artist would you like to be and why? (For example, would you like to paint, use clay, draw, sketch comic book characters, illustrate children’s books, - maybe even be a tattoo artist or photographer…)

      2. B) Draw an illustration of your favorite poem or story. Or illustrate one of your own poems or stories.
