Five Tips for Better Photographs
1. Move in Closer
Each time you spot a subject, snap a shot and then move in closer for a better shot. Keep moving in closer until you are sure the photo will successfully represent your subject
2. Be Quick
If it is at all possible that your subject may move, bolt, fly away, stop smiling, or just get tired of waiting for you to take the picture, shoot once right away.
Practice getting quicker and quicker on the draw.
3 Compose your photos Don’t put your subject in the middle, bring your subject into focus by being off-center.
4. Be Selective
Decide what you want to photograph and focus on getting the best photo of your subject, whether it is a still life, your funny cat, or a friend. Remove anything that distracts from the central subject of your picture.
5. Notice the light. Which way are the shadows falling? It's best to shoot with the sun behind you.
