Filmmakers use a storyboard to plan their movies. A storyboard will help you plan your shoot from beginning to end.

Use the blank storyboard to "sketch out" the actions of your interview. Once you have a completed storyboard, you have a plan on how to shoot your video.

Contest Rules

Submissions can be created by an individual or a group (ages 7-13).
All videos must be no longer than fifteen minutes.
All videos should be free of copyright materials, music and photos.
All videos must be received by February 29, 2008

How to submit your video:

Submit your video on a Mini Digital video tape
Write the title of video on the MDV case

Hints for young video makers.

Submit your video
  • Choose your five questions.
  • Ask your interviewee to keep his or her answers to three or four sentences.
  • Avoid black and white or patterned clothing.
